For those of you who don’t know me, my name is John Schrot. That’s SCHROT as in GOAT. I’ve been saying that all of my life, from grade school to the present. That’s why we came up with the name for the website – SmokyMountainGoatman – and used the logo above.

Hopefully now the name will be a little easier for you to pronounce and remember.

My wife, Terri, and I created this website as a means by which we can stay in touch with our friends, neighbors, and clients.  You’ll notice that this is not the usual run of the mill real estate web page. We designed it in such a way that it is easy to navigate and useful for anyone.

Whether you are from the area or out of state, looking to buy or sell real estate, or not, there will be information about the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area that you can use directly from this website without having to navigate to a lot of different sites.
